Even for a place as steeped in history as Osage County, The Constantine Theater of Pawhuska has a pretty impressive backstory. One of more than 80 buildings in downtown listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Constantine originally served as the Pawhuska House Hotel in the 1880s. After being bought and renovated by C.C. Constantine in 1911, the building became the beautiful theater it is today – making it the second-oldest performing arts center in the entire state! – and the Constantine still hosts a wide variety of concerts and performances.
